Today March 12

   Hello and good day, haven't been sleeping much due to pain, so I have been watching movies and some odd ones at that. Netflix has some pretty good movies alot I have already seen and some I have never heard of. I recommend Murder by Death a good comedy with some old time actors Peter sellers and David Nevin pretty funny, based on the play by Neil Simon. Also watched In The Cut with Meg Ryan, it was rated only 2 stars but I enjoyed the bizarre nature of the film, Meg Ryan should have done the movie at a younger age. Nudity and sexual situations give the movie a twist, especially Meg Ryan nude didn't see that one coming, she still has presence, she definitely lost her goody too shoes persona in this movie. I liked it, should have better than a 2 star rating.

    So we have floods, earthquakes, war, is the END near? I don't think so but it's just my opinion... Happy Trails

So Phil Collins is quitting music for health reasons, sorry to see ya go Phil. I loved early Genesis and some of your newer stuff. Here is a quote from FHM and he is absolutely right: He lives in a small town in Switzerland now, attempting to distance himself from the music scene. The report that he's calling it quits from the music business just seems to make his actions official. “I don't really belong to that world and I don't think anyone's going to miss me. I'm much happier just to write myself out of the script entirely,” he told FHM. Today's world of MTV Music Awards and artists who care more about celebrity status than making music make the choice easy, he says.

Today

So I watched Dances With Wolves again today, one of my favorite movies of all time ( big western fan ). Then I read today's news about the republicans trying to void a law that blocks mining, oil drilling and such on public lands. It made me think back to the movie I just watched, I live out west and enjoyed going fishing and being in the outdoors before this curse of a disease has left me unable to do those things anymore. I understand that we need the  oil and the minerals that create jobs, but we must understand that by destroying the things that make this country a great place to live ( sadly that is going down hill ) we are destroying wildlife, our own drinking water and the great place the outdoors are. The native Americans had it right, live off the land but do not destroy it in the process. The greed in our country just goes beyond belief any more, we have let the political system in our country become corrupt with power, last time I read the Constitution, it said WE THE PEOPLE not we the government. Normally I try and stay out of politics because it brings out the worst in people. Just my 2 cents worth, not that it means much anymore.

On This Day in 2011

    Hello and welcome to my blog. Just a few things first, I am disabled (crps) for those of you who don't know what that is Google it. I like rock music, real music none of that new crap floating around, you know the 1 hit wonder shit. The music industry is killing itself trying to make number 1 records when they should be focusing on the music. You know what I mean, when an entire album was worth listening to not just 1 or 2 tracks. When you can put on an album (yes I know I am dating myself here) and listen to the whole thing with out skipping cuts. OK enough about that.

   New at the blogging thing, not a writer so don't be disappointed when I miss a comma. I will daily write about things I find interesting and news I feel is worthy of talking about, I really don't give a shit about some famous person's personal life.
